Exhaust... To Wrap Or Not To Wrap... That Is The Question!!!

I will be gettin a set of Muzzys soon. Just wondering if I should wrap them. What are the pros/cons? Is it even a good idea? LEt me know. Thanks!

Pros in all aspects keeps the heat down... Only issue is wrapping it, PITA. I am going to get mine coated this week and they claim to bee 500 degrees cooler.

BTW we now sell Muzzy...

Its a new process like ceramics but 4th gen... Ill have more info this week as my powder coater doest it on headers. Price is TBD... as he wants to do mine first.

I did it and made a huge difference. You have to be careful when you are wrapping stainless. As in I wouldn't wrap the welds. Just be sure the pipes a real clean and use soapy water to get them wrapped tight!

If this is on a 09 then there is no reason to wrap as you don't have the heat issue coming to the driver from the Muzzy.

08 model wrap the front head pipe only and you will be ok.

There is just no reason to except on a 08 where you get lots of engine heat to drivers seat
