Good day everyone. I was wondering if higher elevations (2500 - 6000) and lower temperature's (70 degree's) require the MSD to be leaned out, or if the factory mapping is still good under these conditions. I have been told factory mapping is overly rich so maybe it could use a bit of leaning out. I have muzzy standard pipe on my 2010, with stock air filter (for now). When the machine is idling it smells like it is very rich, and I have dark brown coloring on the end of the pipes from the exhaust. Otherwise it runs fine from idle to WOT. Just wondering if I could remap it by subtracting fuel from the map cells. Or does sombody have a map for higher elevation. I am not much of a tuner so I require assistance. What do you guys think.
