MSD fuel map question?

I recently purchased a 09 teryx. I installed an fmf duel exaust, removed the airbox and replaced it with a large K&N with outerwear. I was recommended an MSD fuel controller, so i purchased one. Does anyone recommend and want to share a good fuel and timing map? The help would be very helpful!

Just put it on #3 and you will be fine, most of us use Muzzy pipe.

09 Teryx, Muzzy Dual Exhaust, MSD, UNI Filter and Dalton Clutch Kit.
14" ITP SS112 Wide Offset Wheels with 26" Terra Cross Tires.

I would of bought a muzzy but the fmf is over 200 dollars cheaper at the moment. FmF is a good product.

I would take that K&N filter right back out and do another option then possibly put lid back on.

I can't find it right now but have a thread on here about how a K&N filter destroyed a teryx engine. Have many cases of this, they let too much dirt thru.

We have a better option but didn't want to push something on you, more concerned about helping than selling.

Todd also wouldn't mine selling you a billet adapter for your air box so you can run a uni filter like I bought from him, I don't mind pushing.
Todd also to my knowledge has the best map for a stock teryx or one with the muzzy pipe wich would probally be as close as you could get for your pipe I have not seen a map for your pipe, I have not heard of anyones map running any better than what mine does that I got from Todd for the muzzy, I have msd, muzzy, billet adapter with uni, vforce john clutch mod and I can top out at 68mph on speedo.

I be interested in the fuel map for the muzzy exaust? I'd even pay for it. I hate to disagree about the K&N. A properly maintained K&N works great.

The biggest draw back about removing the air box so far is the noise!!

That is what the guy used to say that just spent $2200 at our shop putting his motor back to stock. Should have seen the dirt in the engine, only 900 miles on the Teryx too.

1400 miles on mine with a K&N and not a problem. Just keep them well maintained and they do just fine. They will also breath better than any other filter.

If you have any doubt about your filter, put a small amount of white grease just inside the air intake, about were your filters clamps on. You will find out if it is letting anything past.

the #3 setting is pretty good,i have msd programed with HW/muzzy tune, there is a noticable diff.as far as air filters K&N filters will out breathe most filters true, because they dont filter as well as other filters.the air box is where we gain or loose alot of useable power.not just opening it up either.make it work with your exhaust and fuel and timing map.ive spent all week making runs with different stock airbox configurations,im talking 30ft times to 500ft times.not really any big changes in 500ft times, but 30 and 60 ft times were big.opening box too much kills bottom end performance, it makes up a little back on top,but not as much as you loose down low, making our fancy clutch mods useless.found a good combo with lid on and not too much engine noise.i run a honda brand air, oil filters even honda gn4 10/40 engine oil.
