how to disconect the engine brake?

hey guys...i have my teryx in a thousand pieces again trying to install the clutch kit!!anyways...i took it apart here at home and im going to take it to the kawasaki dealer in the morning to install the kit and was wanting to know how i should disconect the kebc while i have it apart?and also i have an overdrive cap that was from utv crap and it looks just like the oem cap???any differences between them that maybe i could see?thanks

you can do it all at home. the fork has a ring clip at the end (kebc) remove it and the whole assembly comes out. remove it and leave the plug-in attached, so the machine thinks it is still operational. the cap is just machined a couple 1000's thinner to allow the belt to ride higher on the sheave. are you taking it to the dealer to have the clutch kit installed? if so, 30bucks buys the removal tool, and you could do it yourself!

no im not going to turn it over to the dealer to do it...im just taking it there to use their tools...at no cost.
