Bore kit install instructions???

So am thinking about a bore kit especially since Mickey is running a sale. Does anyone have a killer install video or some instructions? I want to know exactly what I am getting into before dropping the cash.

If you love working with your hands and fixing things you'll do just fine, were all here for you tons of info and pics. The hardest part is to not drop the cam chain remember there is a rear cam and a front cam that is specific and when you put it back together you start with the rear set-up the cam correctly then install valve cover adjust your valves then go clock ways 270degrees this is them most important part then just set your cam, valve cover, adjust valves please take note I'm giving you a crash course and there other items I'm just highlighting a few. There will be those who come and say a different way but it all work Boss. Thanks Tomaytoys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just don't forget the other parts that need to go with it, exhaust, clutch kit, jetting if carbed, MSD or other fuel controller and larger injectors if EFI and some way to stop the oil from being pushed into intake

Todd, I have a question? If you pay $800 for exhaust , $ 350 for a clutch kit, $99 for a good jet kit , $25 for UNI filter, for an 08 or add for a 09 - 10 $450 for msd , $ 250 for bigger injectors, $700 for 38mm throttle bodies. For about 9 rear wheel horsepower. You can add $1300 for a FST840 kit for about 32 rear wheel horsepower more what is the best bang for the buck ?
Realistically you can do the job in 12 hours with a clean bike and you know what your doing. Double that if you arent sure and fumble through it.

So you would put a 840 kit in without all the other parts I mentioned?

Maybe you misread it, I didn't say those parts instead of the 840 kit I said you would need them also with 840 kit.

You wouldn't put a 840 kit and change nothing else would you?

They will work, up until a few months ago that was all Muzzy had. I think the more you add to the 840 the more hp you will gain with the pro.

Todd not trying to bust your chops I was just trying to say that you put all those other things on your bike for 9RWHP so IF YOU put an 840 kit in you will get the BIGGEST bang for your buck, assuming you already put exhaust, CDI , and clutch kit. Just sayng the thing that changed my bike the MOST for the money was the 840 kit. I realize that you have to have the other stuff before you get to that step. But, once you are at that step you get the most bang for your buck with a BBKOh I edited my comment because it was worded wrong.Sorry for the confusion.
