Just wondering,,, why do you want stiffer springs? Mine ran alot better with softer springs. Crow

i have a odd miss in mine and i was thinking that the slide springs are too soft and causing the slides to bounce under wide open throttle....maybe im wrong..i dont know where to look or point.im just trying to find something.maybe i need softer springs.

When I was tuning mine, with stock springs & uni air filter with a 3" snorkel on it, the vacuum was gone in the air box. I put in lighter springs & was better, cut about 1/2" off, got better. What really changed my machine was the mod to the slides that filled the front hole & bored 2 more holes in the bottom of the slides. Now it has more bottom end & midrange. Gets to the stock limiter faster & starts most temps without choke until -10 C. Might be a bit rich but has not caused any problems yet, Gas is cheap any ways, at least cheaper than beer.
On your machine I'd try running down the road with the plenum off and watch the carbs, if the slides are pulsing, lighten up spring pressure.
Maybe some one else will give you some better advice. Crow

i have a set of brute springs. they are a few coils shorter than a teryx and no noticable difference in stiffness.

They are softer and your slides are not bouncing...try the Brute Force springs...I bet your "miss" goes away...

It has been explained to me by cutting coils off you actually stiffen the spring cause you have less coils to carry the load
