Bigger injectors?

I just ordered a std. bore kit form FST the other day for my 09. Just wondering if the std. bore guys are running bigger fuel injectors or do the stockers work just fine. I know the MSD shows the injector duty cycle so i guess I'll find out when i get the engine done. I just was curious if I'll need to order bigger ones

With the MSD the duty cycle is only going to be around 70%,if going to bigger injectors makes any more power it will be because of the different way they spray.

My FST std bore kit was working near max duty cycle with the stock injectors. The larger injectors allow me to keep the duty cycles down.

I just did a std bore AMR kit and at one point the duty cycle was pegged at 100% and most of the time over 80%. They simply won't last that long like that.

We have some injectors even though are not on the site that work quite well.

We sell them for $180 shipped for a pair. They flow 324 cc compared to 270cc stock according to our flow testing.

Duty cycle is much better and they work flawless. Enough injector for a even a 840 kit.

Was that with the MSD? I sent a customer to DASA (not DASA.com)a few months ago and they told him that my std bore didn't need injectors. I thought that was odd after Steve (DASA.com) had been telling us it was a must even on the std. bores. This is the kind of feed back that drove me to start doing my own packages so I know what's what.

I had VFJ tell me he had just did a std bore with the MSD and they were at 70% with the stock injectors.

Then you get other people that buy the injectors from VFJ saying they instaled a std bore and they put injectors in.

So who is right?

That was with the MSD ..... a STD bore FST kit teryx with Dasa pipes will need inj. It will hit 100 duty. It wont run at 100% all the time, but in a dyno pass it will hit 100%

If you go too big on the inj they wont idle correctly and are a pain in the azz. I have been testing inj and fuel injected teryxs longer then anyone

I have given you the STRAIGHT scoop since day 1

So how does the customer know who is telling the truth. Are you saying Dan(DASA's owner) sent a customer out the door dyno tuned on the same dyno you use that needed injectors?
