YFZ Siphon Break Questions

When I do this mod, what size is the hose that drains back to the fitting I will have installed on the rear head? I am trying to get a list of fittings and hoses to make the install as painless as possible.

The rubber cap goes over the stock breather inlet on the air plenum...on the 09 and newer you will need a 3/4" threaded PVC plug which you can get at any hardware store...

I am thinking that the "Micheal" fitting has been custom designed and machined by its respective distributor's. You get it from Hunterworks and or Sandjunkie and or UTV Crap

What does the siphon break do and how do I know for sure if it is needed on a 2010 with muzzy pro and msd ?
What would be the tell--tell sign that I need to install it ?
