clutch

Does anyone recommend any one brand of clutch kit to use? I know the Dalton is adjustable but how does it compare in price. I don't plan on making any changes other than whats already done? Dual exaust, Cold air with a K&N air filter, and MSD fuel controller. What kind of performance gains could a person expect from the clutch kit with the mods I've already done? Thanks!

We only sell the Dalton, it simply works.

Even on a stock engine, it prolongs belt life and really puts the power to the ground quicker. A actual seat of the pants feel.

As far as price it is a little higher but when you consider no matter what you do you won't have to buy another kit it becomes the better value.

V-forcejohn has a really nice clutch kit specifically for the Teryx. He even has his own springs made. His weights are adjustable too.

Is his clutch kit different than his clutch mod? Or do combine the two?

VFJ clutch mod is the best I have over 800 mile on stock belt turning 27' tires. VFJ clutch mod fixes the the number one problem and that is belt contact with the clutch a clutch kit wont fix the problem but your dealer cant sell you the VFJ clutch mod so they try to sell you a dalton kit that has lighter weights to make your unit rev up faster.

Yes the clutch kit is different from the clutch mod. The clutch mod he changes the angle on the sheaths, cuts alot of wieght out of the clutch, and he machines the cap to allow for the higher speeds so you don't have to buy the after market cap and the kit allows you to ajust the wieghts to fine tune the clutch, his clutch kit has some lighter wieghts that are taylored more for his V-force mod, and vforce clutch wieghts seem to satisfy everyone that uses them but most people are also happy with the Dalton kits.

Vjohns clutch kit ... Three reasons... It performs as WELL OR BETTER than the Dalton and is CHEAPER and ADJUSTABLE. You can also call him anytime for support. A very nice guy.. I am just talking about his clutch kit not the mod.

If I were to install a Dalton clutch with no other mods, would I need to make any changes to it after installing a MSD and exhaust? I am trying to buy one piece at a time and I figured clutch first?
