Stock jetting specs? Todd?

OK, I have the 08 Teryx LE - I put the Hunterworks carb kit, HW dynatek CDI, and Muzzy's on it. I am going to sell so I pulled the Muzzys off and went back to what I thought was close to stock jetting, 130 mains and turned hte air screw to 1.75 turns out. I figured with the 2 extra breathers in the air lid that would be about right. As it sits now I can only get up to about 30-33mph and its boggish getting there. I did leave the dynatek in it and it seems to run the best on curve 1 - runs worse with the stock CDI. I emailed Todd a few days ago but no reply so I am asking here - I want to put it back to stock since I am doing some horse trading for the Muzzys and CDI.

So, anyone have an idea what stock jetting is supposed to be? Any other ideas what I could be missing?

I didn't get your e-mail, sorry.

Are you talking about the Keighn jets or the dynojet jets being in the 130's?

I would say probably 2 turns out on screws and something around 140's in dynojet jets.

I would also lean toward something not put together right over that being a jetting issue.

Todd

Well, I am not sure just what jets I have? I thought Keihin jets but do you send out dynojets in your kit? Is there a big difference? How do you tell the difference if the numbers are different? I was pretty sure I had stock jets but I do have quite a few in my jet jar - Pretty sure I have everything back together right and don't see anything out of place but for a couple missing vent lines that have fallen off. What would stock jetting be with factory jets?

OK, so that gives me the jet comparisons, how do you tell the difference between a Keihin and a dynojet?

Still need factory jetting #'s too

Ugh! No wonder jetting was such a nightmare! I bet I have a mix of jet brands and that was totally messing with me.

I never bought from Dynojet as I always felt their "jet kits" were an overpriced joke - now I HATE them for their screwed numbering system!

Keihin jets have a groove around the side and are also numbered on side. Dynojet jets are smooth on the side and numbered on the top

LOL! It's funny that the the stock jets are 135 140, my jetting is @ 140 145 with the std bore kit and running awesome. Its just a little fat right now but since we dont ride in the summer it should be just right come fall/winter. I'll check it around Oct. Good luck with your jetting. Why are you selling?
