Coolant

Hello. My coolant is down a little bit and I want to top it off. Other than water wetter and other types like it will automotive regular coolant work fine. We have such temperature changes I don't want to have to change coolant 2 times/year.

Also if I add a bit in the resivoir do I need to burp the system. Or just add and go.

X2 Mine was leaking where the hoses run under the hump in the floor, like codyo said mine was hand tight and was leaking when I got mine I noticed anti=freeze on the floor and it scared the shit out of me until I seen it was the hose. where it was coming out right under the motor. I also heard of 2 more people with the same issue

you shouldnt have to burp the system if your just adding a little. If it starts overheating suddenly though thats the first thing i'd do. I also had loose hose from factory, scared the crap outta me, thought i blew a head gasket at first.

Do you have to take off a bunch of plastics to get to where the hose attachments are, or is it preety cut and dry? My Teryx is at our storage right now so I don't have it accessible to look at. Any info would be appreciated.

you can get to some by taking the top motor cover off and youll find some hoses and thermostat sorta underneath and in front of shifter, thats where mine was leaking, and also if you take the middle skid off the bottom youll see another, i found this one really loose. If you have an oil change coming up may as well do it while you have the skid off. I always take the skid off when i do oil changes anyways so i can look everything underneath over.
