alot of mud and an overheat!

ok guys, I am new to the world of the side by side. I bought a 2008 teryx. It had less than an hour on it and I got a great deal. That being said I decided yesterday to take it into some serious mud. I did and it took the holes like a champ. Putting my buddys rhino to shame. well, apperenatly mud clogged up my radiator, and it began to run hot. I ran it about 2 or 3 miles hot, out of the woods, and washed out the radiator with a hose at the nearest house. I drove it (on the road) about 4 miles to the house, and it did not run hot again. However I am very concerned about the amount of damage that may or may not have occured during the time when I ran it hot. does any one have experiance with this sort of thing, or have had a similar experiance. I know that I am an idiot for driving it hot at all, and I just hope that I have not done any damage to my engine...

If you blew a head gasket you would know it. It would either smoke like crazy or your resovoir would look like it is boiling when it is first started and it would keep overheating. Change your engine oil and filter... You probably cooked the oil. Should be fine.. I sure wouldnt make that a habbit though
