Muzzy Exhaust Questions...

Hey guys, I'm going to be purchasing the dual muzzy exhaust here soon. A few questions...every stock pipe I have had turn brown after a while...I do go thru a lot of muddy water and some mud....just the way it is around here....will the muzzy polished exhaust stain like the stock ones do?

If they do, I may get the Teflon ones, any advantages to the Teflon?

The pipes will get caked on just like stock ones. I teflon might not get as much stuck to them as the others. I like the polished though.

If you need more info, give me a call.

Thanks for the reply Todd, still looking at getting the pwr package setup from you soon.

Is there a way I can clean them or make it so they stay nice and shiny?

Stay out of the mud.

They will get coated, if you are a mudder. Its just a matter of time, no matter if you wash them or not every ride.

The Muzzys are aluminum so they won't rust but will turn color over time, they will look better over time than the factory steel exhaust but I think the next set I buy I am going to try the teflon black one, they will clean up with soap and water and won't stain as bad as the polished aluminum, you can keep the aluminum cans looking decent but it requires regular cleaning and polishing. Over time without regular cleaning and polishing I think the black ones will hold up better.

I always tell people you really can't see the sides of the mufflers much anyway only the rear and they are all the same so it really does not matter.

We have sold over 300 Muzzy exhaust and less than five Teflons.

I bet 250 of them were sold before the teflon option became available.

We have not been selling them but less than two years and as far as I know I think the teflon was available since then. I could be wrong though
