Radiator fan not working

Hello Guys..
If any geniuses out there that can help me, I would be the happiest person. I just purchased 2009 Kawasaki Teryx and enjoying the rides until last evening. Today morning when I tried to turn it on, I noticed radiator fan was not working. I checked all the connections and they all are in proper place. Just wondering what else I need to check? Any help and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks..

There is a circuit break under the seat. Also, I would wire it directly to see if the problem is in fact the fan

If does not come on until it reaches a certain temp. But the first thing I was told to do was to get rid of that breaker type switch that is under the seat which i did. I installed a sealed buse fuse set up so that all i have to do know is just replace the fuse which has never blown at all. But still that was not the only problem. I hot wired the fan motor to see if it would work and it did not so i took it to the dealer and they had to replace the fan motor which i think would of been 175 bucks plus labor. Mine was still under warranty.

Do yourself a favor and install a "fan by pass switch." The OEM switch is nothing more then junk. It will either stop working altogether or it will kick the fan on and not shut off until it runs the battery dead (as mine did).

When mine started acting up I just went ahead and did it right by replacing that mini fan with the HO version, replaced that switch, and then added the high volume pump impeller. Its easier to enjoy your big boy toy when its not trying to burn itself up. I got all my stuff from Todd at Hunterworks.com

Has you rgone through many troubleshooting steps. My first check would be to see if the fan is working. Pull the electrical connector off of the T-Stat housing and the fan should kick on. If it doesn't, check the wiring to the fan and see if it's getting power (using same method). If the fan is good then go to the relay. In others words ... work backwards from the fan. Don't forget the "dummy check" stuff first like loose wires, etc.

I replaced my breaker with a sealed fuse breaker...or whatever they're called...any sort of restriction on the fan increases amp draw thus kicking the factory breaker. Mine quit working a couple weeks ago, turned out it was a bad temp switch on the radiator...i believe this is only on the '08 models. So as for now my fan is wired directly to the key so if the car is on, the fan is on...just a temporary fix until i can figure something else out...if you're on an 08. you can pull the two wires off of the temperature sender on the driver's side of the radiator and jump those two wires together and the fan will run right up until the battery dies...haha

I've still got to replace the impeller and fan the stock parts just cant handle the south eastern summer...and possibly relocate the radiator one of these days...probably just another pipe dream...

How's the sealed fuse working out? I'm thinking I might get rid of the breaker...posts on it are cheap.

I know this is an old thread but I ran into same problem, got rid of the reset with a inline fuse, next time(last week) found the relay under the seat had failed. Had another one for the fuel pump fail last year so now carry a spare one. Relays left to right looking forward are Fuel pump, Engine fan, Start Neutral, Start brake pedal. Can be checked with meter should have 0 ohms between 2 posts and 39 ohms on the other. Hope this helps someone.
