Jetting Help.

HI,

I have an 08 teryx 750 with A cold air intake, (no box, K&N style filter)
with dual Two brothers exhaust and a programmable CDI.

And i have No idea where to start with jetting. we just tried a 148 and 152 (what we were recommended) but it still seems like its starving.

would 160's be more likely to work?

Removing the airbox with vacuum style carbs is part of your issue.
Search poflo carb mod for solution for open air.

Wideband Air Fuel gauge will get you set right for jetting. 12.5 - 13 is what several people recommend.

ok that makes sense,

so we put the air box back on,
but we bought the teryx with out the air box installed, and we cant find where the two vacuum hoses on the carbs go... wouldnt they go into the airbox somewhere? we cant find a place for them..

thanks

They tie into one another and run right over the intake boot where it comes off the air box and sits right there.

Definitely put your stock air box back on, modify it slightly. You have vacuum operated carbs which need "vacuum" to properly meter fuel and have the slides open correctly.

You can add some air to it but will need to go with lighter diaphragm springs.
