Keihin CVKR34 Carb Diagram

I am far from a mechanic and really know nothing about re-jetting carbs. I have done it before, but had instructions that I just had to follow.

With that said, does anyone have an exploded view of the CVKR34 carbs or something that could help me rejet my Teryx?

I need to go up one size on the needle and 1 size on the main jet.

Also, for those of you who have re-jetted your carbs, did you do it with them still joined?

Also, not sure if this information is listed somewhere, however, lets say you have a #140 main jet, what is the next jet size after that. How are they incremented? Same with needle, if I just need to go up one size, how is that figured?

Keihin main jets go up in staggering increments.

From 140 to
142
145
148
150
etc.

You can leave the carbs assembled as a pair when you rejet them. The throttle cable limits how far you can move them around without disconnecting it but it can be done. You will have to disconnect the wires for the carb heaters on the right side.
You should probably try shimming the needle before replacing it. How did you determine that it need to be replaced?
If you shim the needle up, it will richen the mixture from approx 1/8 - 3/4 throttle. Once the slide is open all the way, it is running on the main jet and the needle size and position is ineffective. Below 1/8 throttle it is using the pilot circuit.

Hi there, thanks so much for the information, I am clearly ignorant on this kind of stuff.

Actually I received the new air intake from aFe and it states that needle needs to be sized up one as well as one up on main jet.

Shimming the needle? What is that, does that have to do with the location of the clip?

Shimming the needle accomplishes the same thing as moving the clip on a needle. However, not all needles have a movable clip. In those cases you have to use shims. You can also get 1/4 & 1/2 clip increments by using a shim of the proper thickness.
One size up on the needle is a pretty generic statement. The needle is not just a size, it is a shape. They have different areas on the needle that can be shaped or sized differently, so it isn't like main jets where they go up and down in predetermined increments.
Is that the exact language that AFE uses?

Yes I will be doing a full write up with pics. I have not installed it yet only because I need to get the needles and jets. I am going to install the trail tech system at the same time, therefore, I am waiting until I get the machine down to the shop because I need to drill through the spindle to mount the speed sensor. I am hoping next week my seats will come it and we will start installing the cage, lights, seats, etc.
