Went to buy a new Rhino, came home with the Teryx

I was recently all fired up to go out and buy my new Rhino, I brought my friend (who is a race car fabricator) to the dealer with me, he had no previous knowledge of these vehicles. After some time looking at the build of the units he said that I would be crazy to buy a Rhino, In his mind there was a clear advantage inhino by my calc. the Teryx. After sitting in both of them I was sold too, mainly because of the room. We got a KILLER deal on one, saved about $15K. Can't wait to start my build.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. It is good that you saved $1,500 on the deal. I believe that the others will echo my thoughts when I say, spend that money on a Dynatek CDI, Hunterworks Carb and air filter, as well as IMO a Dalton clutch kit w/ overdrive cover. That will add up to around $1,100 but those mods are well worth it because they make the Teryx run like a screamin banshee.

thanks for the advice

after the Teryx purchase(cash) I'm gonna need to slow bleed on those mods. I've started with a 4 seat cage, seats and harnesses this is already $2,500. Gotta get the wife happy before I do anything else if you know what I mean. I will definitely be looking forward to all the great tips on this site. Thanks again.

I was in the same boat when I bought mine. I heard the teryx engine had more potential, but when I went to look at the two, there was no comparison. The Teryx just looks stronger everywhere. Bigger tubing on the arms and the frame. I have had no problems, you'll be happy, spend the $200 bucks asap for the dynatek and you're good to go.

I did the same thing...was dead set on a Rhino, left with a Teryx. The Teryx in my opinion has several advantages over the Rhino, mainly the suspension and motor. Do not get me wrong, I still love the Rhino, but wouldn't trade my Teryx for it
