would any one have some advice for me .My 15 year old son got my teryx stuck in a dry ditch last weekend i had to leave town and could not get it out ,and then the floods came and totally cover the thing for days i had to go swimming to get it out . When i got it out and open the dip stick it gushed water out of it like a faucet what should i do with the thing to clean it up and get it running again ?

I never did this but my mechanic said he drains the oil, and fills with diesel fuel and turns the motor over, drains it and does that a couple more times. Of course do this with the spark plug out.

I suppose the obvious will need to be done, gas tank cleaned out, carb cleaned out, air box etc.

Remove clutch cover and clean out.

Just like what Todd said, hopefully no electrical problems, maybe check and clean all connections that are easy to get to and use some dielectric grease on them also. Sounds like you have lots of clean up, good luck!
