newbie here from north miss.

Hello everybody,Igot an 08 le and love it its my first side by side,use it alot for hunting and farming.The only thing wrong with it is the popping noise in low gear,has done from the start does anyone have any suggestions?

If it is like mine and all of the others that have spoke about this issue, then it is just the nature of the beast. It is just the jerking and twisting of the play in the drive train.

A Fix for the gear klunk

The shift rod from the shifter to the transmission flexes to much and don't hold in gear going down hill. I welded a 1/2" square tubing between the threads. You will need to adjust the linkage again so it goes into all gears (not to hard). This made a huge difference in the klunking..

Explain your popping sound, meaning how do you get it to do it?

Not to disagree but we have a whole bunch of Teryx's here and I have not ran into that problem myself on anything. Jerky yes, thats the nature of a clutch like that. But no poping. Might be something else?

Thanks for the info everybody,After hunting season im going to bring it back to dealer.After all thats why i got the extended warranty.
