Hello, I am a new member with a good story

Hello everyone,

I am not trying to start any disputes or anything this is a true story and I just think forum members wouldn't mind hearing my story and if you have any negative comments I would rather not hear them at all. My vehicle is the Prowler XTZ 1000 bone stock and my two friends own a KFX450 and a KFX700 for those who don't know they are made by Kawasaki. So, Yesterday my friends and I went for a trail ride. After a long day of riding my friend says, "let's line them up to see what the prowlers got," I was like allright let's do it! Off we go, well as for the KFX450 it was left behind by about 3-4 Prowler lengths and the 700 was left behind by 1 1/2-2 prowler lengths. When we raced the second time around the prowler was left behind by the 700 about 1 1/2 prowler lengths. I was surprised at how fast the stock prowler was. Oh, and bye the way I forgot to mention that the KFX 700 has upgrades like full exhaust(FMF Dual with manifolds) Air Filter Box, and a jet kit.

These are my future upgrades.

The seats

The cage

The wheels are allready installed 1 mod down 2 to go.

I have always said...who cares what you ride as LONG as you ride...

Welcome to the forums...your probably going to get a good share of ribbing about your choice of vehicle but it's all in good fun...

Hi there, nice to have you with us

I assume you were just showing those products for examples right? Since the cage is on a Rhino and the wheels on a RZR.

Does not matter to me what you drive...its all the same hobby

Hi and Welcome

Where are you from? There are a few 840cc Teryx owners that would like to see how they compare to the 950 cat. Don't know the outcome yet but most would happily spot you the 110ccs.

Now we are talking apples and oranges, not apples to apples. I think a bored out supercharged 840cc Teryx Vs. a bored out supercharged 1***cc Prowler would be a fair match. Now you are talking apples to apples.

It's just like taking a bored and stroked supercharged 5.4 liter mustang Cobra vs. a Bored and stroked out Camaro with a 6.1 liter ls2.

Check this out I can't wait till they start taking orders.

I'm not talking race 800cc CORR motors or s/c. The CORR motors make similar hp to the super charged Prowlers. Apples to Apples is an 840 kit with fcrs would be similar price point to a 950cc Prowler. Motor to motor not NOS or anything like that. Apples to apples at similar price point and closer on the ccs.

I'm not talking about boring out the cat motor. You said apples to apples. Is 110cc advantage not enough for you? AMR can bore out a Teryx motor to a 1125ccs drag race motor too and there are s/c motors for the Teryx also by the same company. I would just like to see someone spot a cat 110ccs and go for a little run down the road. The price point of the smaller motor kit would be similar to a Prowler and I'm betting on the Kawi. Similar priced but smaller "apples" of the Kawi vs the Prowler 1000.

I'm glad you have a fast side by side. I hope you have a great time with it. Wheres pictures of you driving it? Thats what we (I) want to see here. The link is to the benz, (which is very nice). However, if I wanted to see pictures of a fancy luxury car I'd go to another forum.

You never did say where you ride at.

Here is Super charged Teryx Video.

This is a stock teryx with s/c. Again not apples to apples. For the $ though the $3000 less you save on a Teryx puts you a long way towards the purchase of a $4500 - $5000 super charger. Its all on how much you want to spend.
