2009 Polaris Model Line...Click Here for all details!

Hey guys,

At 12am Est, UTV Off-Road Magazine is going to have all the details of the 2009 Polaris models on our website: UTV Off-Road Magazine :: Everything Side-By-Side for the Off-Road Enthusiast

The top item in the News & Event section will be our 20 page article you can read right online. It will include details of all UTV/SxS models including the latest and newest accessories, as well.

The second item in the News & Events section will be the videos of their product line. This will initially include a full walk-around specifications video and an exciting action video. In short time we'll have some additional videos up of all the accessories they had on display in addition to the rest of the UTV/SxSs.

If you have unanswered questions after reading the article and seeing the videos, we'll be more than happy to answer them if we know the answer. We got to spend 2 days with them, so there's probably some things we missed but will cover in future issues once we get some more time to spend with the machines.

Polaris New model fixes

Hubby just had to have one of those things instead of our old standard Ranger so we could go more skinny places in Colorado. Glad company fixed so many issues, great for folks buying new units, then there are those of us with 08 models. I guess all it takes is enough money to change out all that is changeable to be better served. Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed that so much got fixed so well, now how about the excessive heat in the cargo box and single beam head lights verses old Ranger (06 latest) dual beam lights? Could also improve on those trailering covers they sell, turned my red RZR dirty black first trip out. Only use it for a throw over dust cover now. With the flimsy skid plates we went ahead and installed heavy duty aircraft aluminum plates prior to Colorado trip, best after market investment we could have made. Paid for themselves in no dents or damages on boulder strewn trails. The ground clearance is a real bone, the 10" is just about 2" too little. Will have to change out wheels and tires to get tall enough to be comfortable on trails and just keep all weight low and stay as level as possible. We're not young so speed is not our need, getting there is and if not obstructed by water over the limit or rocks too tall and spaced to prevent rock crawling, these little buggers will really climb like a goat and keep you comfortable while doing it. 250 miles in 3 days in the mountains for us and no body soreness was wonderful. Old Ranger left a lot to be desired there. Loved the height for rocks and getting in and out. You can't have it all, all the time but this new "Baby" of ours I've had to customize for Hubby gives us the most, most of the time. Think we'll keep it.
