I have a 2009 with 25 hours on it. The machine is about two months old. I have an issue with the performance of it when driven hard. After about thirty to forty minutes of hard driving the teryx seems to go into some sort of mode or something that cuts the power down. When it does this it will only go about thirty MPH even down hill. Any more than 3/4 throttle and it doesn't go. You can hear the intake sucking but the ecu is supplying the fuel. You can let it sit for a while, sometimes a couple hours and then it will work fine again for thirty minutes or so. The motor is not getting hot nor is the radiator they are normal temperature. So I know it is not overheating. Any body have any ideas or had the similar happen to them?

Took to the dealer and they are trying to charge me $150 because they looked at it and found nothing wrong so they think I should pay for their time.

I can tell you one thing... I wouldn't let the dealer charge me $150.00 and if they did I would be sure to tell them that that is the last purchase I would make there!!!!!!!!

Something surely wrong. Wondering if the ECU has a limp mode for over heating or any other condition. I have a manual at the office.

2009 teryx, I somehow snapped off my speed sensor with a stick the first ride and that made my speedo stop working and the fi light blinked constantly, also had belt light come on and put it into limp mode unless i held it wide open. made for an interesting ride home. dealer covered it, the sensor would have cost $80. @ the dealer. I checked every sensor and of course this was the last one I checked. good luck!

I have a 09 and have not had any problems, but I was told by a friend of mine that that happens at 50 hrs. and you have to take it to the dealer for some reason.

I have a 2009 Teryx 750 that has started using a lot of engine oil lately. I bought this Teryx used in Nov. 2017, and it has worked great. My Teryx is not burning the engine oil, because it is not smoking. I always check the oil level before starting it up, and I normally add 1/3 to 1/2 litre every time - but now I am adding between 1/2 to 3/4 litre. It's getting worse - where in hell is all the engine oil going??? No, it is not leaking - I had my Teryx into the dealer's shop this summer to have the valves adjusted, and while they had it apart, they replaced the seals. So the engine is not leaking oil, and it is not burning oil - so where is all of the engine oil going??? I appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Thanks everyone. Cheers, Stephen K.
