Hey guys,

Thought you'd like to know the new Polaris RZR XP 900 won the toughest race on the planet, the 2011 King of the Hammers in CA. Here's the results we have so far:

1st Place - Brandon Schueler - Jagged X - RZR XP 900
2nd Place - Mitch Guthrie - RZR
3rd Place - Brian Bush - Rotax Rhino
4th Place - Damon Cardone & Nate Copp - HCR Racing - RZR
5th Place - Joanne Gonzales & Brittney Cardone - HCR Racing - First All Women's Team in RZR
6th Place - Brett & Katie Carter - Teryx

Stay tuned as we hear more results, but word was from Brian that over 12 cars were broke down that they counted. I'm sure some are back up and running, but this race is the king of carnage, for sure. 4th and 5th place are supposedly in, as well, but I have no idea who it was yet.

The million dollar question I guess is will they smoke an 840 with your long travel?
I am pretty sure it will ...... 76PLUS MPH STOCK. With a pipe, intake and upping the rev limiter this car will go well over 80MPH I woudl bet 85 PLUS. IMO the 840 will not stand a chance. The stock suspension is 14 inches of travel, the car is lighter and i hav seen video of it hitting whoops this car is for real no hype. I will post all of my findings.

They are Impressive...a friend picked his up last Friday and we rode this weekend...seems to be a monster. I dont know how i feel about the way the rear end is done...almost no protection whatsoever from rear impacts. I guess time will tell...

So are these fully modified rigs?
All the RZR's were fairly stock. Several of them had HCR long travel kits but stock RZR-S motors.

My Teryx made nine and a half miles, or a little past checkpoint one, when the drive belt snapped. I was getting up to speed and was doing 47mph when it broke. A brand new EPI belt with less than 15 miles on it.

I preran in a stock RZR-S with HCR long travel and regretted not building it to race. The RZR's just seemed to do better in the desert.

Mitch Guthrie won the last two years and finished second this year in a stock RZR with long travel.

I will be back next year but it will be in a RZR.
