Just purchased 2011 Teryx Sport. Bone stock, but looking forward to upgrades already. Any sugguestions/feeedback/things to watch out for? I am interested in power/speed increase mods but don't want to get into anything too serious other than bolt-on/plug-ins at this point. I have discovered that top speed is 52mph so I would like to kick it up a bit. The stock suspension/wheel/tire package for the sport seems solid so I will leave that alone for the time being. I see a lot of offerings for HID kits and I would like to upgrade the headlights without adding aux lighting. I have about $1,200 total to invest in mods for now.

Thanks

OK Red first off the MSD ignition is a must in my opinion, there are a couple of good used ones on here for sale that are good honest guys, and good honest venders also, with a decent map that will get you from 51 up to about 62-64 mph, then a Muzzy exhaust will open it up and let it breath, those 2 bolt ons alone will make it feel like a new machine, I know Pitdog and Chad at FuelAtv both had an MSD for sale with good maps in them, I just seen Pitdog said he wanted 300.00 for his.

Here is the track I recommend to our customers.

MSD
Muzzy pipe
Dalton Clutch kit
Overdrive clutch plate

Optional parts
STOP kit if you have oil pushing into plenum
Billet air filter adapter with clamp on UNI filter

All of which we carry and all of which we have pre-programmed and set ups for all it.

I did the MSD, Muzzy pipe, dalton clutch, and overdrive plate and have seen 67 mph on my speedo.

My favorite 2 mods for my style of riding were just deleting the sway bar and adding wheel spacers. My broke ass cant afford extended a-arms but i'm guessing they would be even better. I widened my machine 3" in the rear and 4" in the front and it made a world of difference in much more stable it is.

Well my exhaust is in...I was going to get the VFJ clutch later on with the MSD and put it all on later...but now I'm thinking I might just get the clutch OD cap and the MSD and get the vfj clutch later...separate the spending...
