I have a 2014 Teryx 800 I use primarily to plow our long road in the winter. I have used it for three winters now, with no problem. This morning I noticed the engine began to sputter and cough about half way through the work. I began testing and found the engine began to cut out at around 14 mph. It seemed to be running normal from 0-13 and then would begin cutting out at any speed above. It almost seemed like a governor had been installed. I always warm the vehicle up prior to working in the cold temps. The outdoor temperature this morning was 30 degrees. I run manufacture specified oils and fluids in the machine and until today I have never had any issue, even with temperatures down to -25. No warning lights, and no other indications of a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing this issue?
