Been looking thru older posts concerning front CV joint replacement. Curious if anyone has new experiences with this subject. From what I'm finding, BikeBandit has an aftermarket CV joint that is supposed to fit my '08 rex. I'm not convinced yet that it will. Manufactured by Motor Master, after e-mailing the company; they tell me they have no information for RUV's. I'm now guessing that someone has found this part to be common to my model. I'm just gun-shy to pull the trigger to order a part that I'm not convinced will fit. Any HELP?

I ordered from a guy on ebay a month ago(cv man or somthing like that). He listed for an 08 teryx and i asked him just to b shure it would fit(splines are different than 09 i think), Shure enough it did. I ordered a complete joint including boot and clamps, he just forgot to send the grease but i got that at my local parts store for $2. The complete joint shipped was $75 shipped i believe and shipping was quick. Oh and this was an outer rear joint.

Thanks guys, for your replies. Doug, ya I'm sure I could return it should things not line up. Of course return shipping is usually on the customer ;( As for your comment ny.. it makes me more confident to pursue an aftermarket part based on your experience.
As this situation unfolded for me, I ended up ordering a complete aftermarket shaft from my local dealer. Priced about $150 cheaper than an OEM. Maybe a little overkill, but if you figure $125 for each cv joint, you aren't paying a whole lot more for the complete component. Thanks again for your input:wave:
