I just purchased a 2008 Teryx this weekend. It has 172 hours and about 1850 miles. When I press the gas to start moving it revs up and the jerks before it starts moving. Is this a sign of the belt needing to be replaced or out of adjustment? This makes starting and stopping on hills very challenging. Any thoughts or guides would be great, especially a step by step.

As DougS indicated it is time to check the belt deflection and likely adjust/replace the belt. You can find videos on YouTube on how to tackle those little tasks. It took me about 3.5 hours with my first replacement ... now it would likely take 2 hours to do the same. You will need a couple special tools to do the belt change.

You can go to hunterworks.com also and watch the whole video on how to check or adjust the belt.
