Just got finished tearing everything down to install the machined clutch cap mod on my teryx. The clutch cap will be delivered monday. The only tires i ever plan on running would be nothing larger than stock. I dont have the money for a complete dalton kit but was wandering if a different epi or dalton primary spring would make any difference in performance? ALso what is the proper procedure for checking belt deflection and what shims and where are they located, that have to be removed??

I am not a CVT pro, however, in regards to checking belt deflection. The proper way is with a deflection tool available from Kawasaki. Below is a video that will walk you through another way of doing it, however, it is not as accurate. Video courtesy of Hunterworks, thanks Todd!
