Hi everyone i just joined and this is my first post. I have a 2018 Teryx 4 with 141hrs bought it used with 80 hrs on it and have been adding coolant since I've owned it. I took it to the dealer and they told me it's definitely eating coolant but they can't figure out where its going. They pressure tested it and it passed and it has no coolant leaks out of hoses or the head. I brought up the head to them but they dismissed that and said its not the head. Also the dealer told me they have another Teryx 4 doing the exact same thing and Kawasaki was working with them to figure it out. I was wondering have any of you heard of this and if so what is it. Thanks

No it hasn't been going in the oil that is what is weird about this. I have had it home from the dealer for about 2 weeks and the coolant level has drop an inch in the bottle. I have only put 5hrs on it since i picked it up. I cant figure it out but the dealer is working with me and hope they figure out a solution.

So here is a update. The dealer called me and scheduled my buggy to come in on the 8th and told me it would be done in a couple days and that is what happened. I picked it up on the 11th and it's running great no coolant loss or knocking anymore. I have to give a big thank you to Kelly's Kawasaki in Mesa, Az and my service advisor Dave. They did a great job getting it done fast even when there was more damage then expected and had to overnight parts.

You stated that the head was the problem … did they replace both heads? Just one head? Or head gasket ? I have a customer that is having the same issue of coolant loss and is going to drop it off in a few days … thanks for any response Considering this is an older thread ..
