This is the second year I was planning on making it but wont. If it is in Moab next year I am hoping to attend that one. I should have my Teryx where I want it to be and my neck should be healed completely.
Great pictures and videos, I would recommend everyone take a look at them!
I am really planning on being there next year, I do have a question though...some of those chutes look pretty narrow, could a machine with a long travel even get in there? Then at again, at the very least I can be a passenger and just bring my machine to play around on some of the other rides with wider trails.
Ahhh ok, maybe in the vids they look a lot more narrow than what they really are.
Tell ya what though...looks like there are a lot of steep climbs and steep decents!
I have seen all the videos, however, it would appear that 99% of the machines made it without too many issues...one saw a couple flops, but were there more?
There's trails from mild to wild, whatever a person wants to ride. The nice thing is there is bypasses to a lot of the harder sections, so you can be a part of the crazy stuff without having to drive it yourself if you don't want to.
That is pretty nice for those people...I have been to several places in Arizona that if you do not want to go up or down it, well you are kinda out of luck.
Let me know if I can help you out next year for the event
I would highly recommend this event! It was a great time, with great people and the ultimate scenery. I assisted the guides on a couple runs and I can't speak highly enough of everyone. Sure the escorts weren't the best but they were effective and considering the circumstances in Moab it was probably the best way to handle that size of a group. I think in the end the locals were pretty pleased with the event.
As far as the trails go, as stocker (of any model) could make it most places and the damage or tips that you see in pictures or vids could have easily been avoided. The only thing scratched on my Teryx was the edges of my stock rims and belly pan.
LOL next year the requirement is all participants put their member names on the sides of their machines so that we can pick people out in the videos and pictures
Next year we are there for sure. Wanted to go this year but a small accident kept me home. Already in the planning stages though for next year. Might have to get a Teryxhq group thing going so we can meet some people from differant states.
Sorry about not posting any of your red Teryx. I had 2600'ish pics from the participants and not nearly as many folks gave me their pics as they did from last year.
How do I get more information? I have been to the Moab Easter Jeep Safari a couple of times, but it's been years. I would love to try it out in the Teryx.
