When I picked up my new 2008 Teryx from the dealer this weekend only an instruction manual was in the glove box. Does the 2008 Teryx come with a factory tool kit? Where is it stored on the machine (if there is one).

Thank you.

None of them do... unlike Yamaha and the Rhino...

Kawasaki knew we could'nt get to anything without a boat load of tools except the airfilter and one sparkplug . So they decided not to give us anything.........

Noe that is funny... or it rarely breaks down...:D So it doesn't need any stinking tools.

A shock adjustment tool would have been nice for the upgraded shocks I paid for.:(
Speaking of the shocks , I've adjusted quad shocks before , no problems . But I can't seem to get the Teryx shocks to turn on the 5 preload settings. Do you have to jack it up off the ground to take the pressure off first or is there some trick my dealer does'nt know about ? I'm asking because they could'nt get them to move either .

if kawasaki did give us a tool set it wouldnt be worth a pile of green beans anyway.you should know that if they wont give us[08 owners]gas guage/nice wheels/speedo for some...that we wont get 3 dollars worth of tools!kawasaki really needs to up the ante for their current models i think...the teryx is a nice machine with every mod available only aftermarket though.the limited wheels should be standard on all models and not having an speedo...that is so honda back in the day.buy an 2010 model and it around 11500 otd for a base model...then it nneds 2grand worth of parts to be presentable to the public in my opinion.i like the way arctic cat does their lineup...you get cupholders..bedrails/painted fenders/efi/nice wheels....and plenty of power[950 only!]tilt wheel/and just an overall better looking machine.and can get it for maybe 2 grand more that a base teryx.kawasaki needs to rethink a little.

Just get a set of wrenches and sockets ranging from 6-19mm and a Phillips and flat screwdriver and you can take basically the entire machine apart.
