Well the Teryx worked good all weekend. Put around 500km's on it with the new VFJ clutch with no issues...got up to 105kmh as well. I'm still going thru oil and I don't know why.

I don't believe I have any more leaks or bad seals. I have a hunterworks catch can as well. No smoke and everything is working great...but I put 2 quarts in over those km's this weekend. Any ideas what is going on?

2010 Teryx, MSD, Muzzy's, Uni Filter w/adapter, 10w40 oil,

Tried all types (blend, reg, syn)

Is the catch can full of oil and not draining back?
Is is coming out of the catch can vent and draining out?

Thats a lot of oil for a weekend ride.

Mine goes thru oil as well. Mine dont smoke like it is burning oil. When i change the oil i take the skid plate of and i can see were it appears to come from. It looks like the crank seal or case seal and i have heard that it is just the nature of the beast and to fix it would not be worth the effort because the new seal would be likely to do the same thing, so i will not fix mine til the leak gets BAD.

No I haven't done one. I'm going to look at my catch can setup, see if something is leaking and also check out the seals again.

It runs good and strong, all the way up to 105km/h so I would think if the compression or rings were bad I would notice???

Gonna check out the catch can tomorrow. I think my bro installed it the old way or something not the way you have it with your instructions now...doesn't matter, still shouldn't lose that much oil unless a clamp came off or something.

I had a semi synthetic in it when I started from the dealer after a service. I told them to check all the engine/diff seals to make sure nothing was leaking, if so replace them but I didn't ask when they delivered what had been done, just got the bill with a lot of part numbers.

On the way up I put in 1 quart of 10w40 Amsoil synthetic. On the way back I put in regular non sythetic irving brank 10w40 as that's all the store had in the small town. I also used to run Amsoil 0w40 and noticed it was going thru oil. So I don't think the problem is the oil anymore...but the machine! :) It works great...just drinks it!

Yeah I was thinking the same thing but went through 2 quarts of regular oil and 1 quart of Synthetic after looking again.

Back at work now, still haven't had a chance to dig into it.

You probably sucked in dirt throught the air filter. I bought the UNI from Todd at Hunterworks and it works great to keep the dirt out. Unfortunately, I caused damage to the valves, rings (.060) clearance and cylinder walls before I changed out the filter from the OEM to the UNI. I was going through a half a quart of oil every 6-10 miles, brought it to the dealer and they had to rebuild the engine. I also have the catch can and it never has gotten any oil in it, so I would probably check the rings and valves if you are going through that much oil.
