So what has the consensus been on aftermarket exhaust kits for the Teryx? The Two Brothers Racing kit looks nice, however, not sure of anyone else making something?

So how far are you from Glamis? Believe it or not, I did not make it out to Glamis this year :(

Would be interested to here how your Teryx does.

Are you going to run paddles or just run the stockers?

Im 210 miles (4hours) from Glamis. I have Paddles and smoothies for it but my ITP T7 Black Beadlock wheels are on Backorder so I wont be running them this trip. Hopfully for Easter. Im also on the list to get a So. Cal Fab Long Travel kit with Elka shocks when they are finished.

Before next season I will also install a Lowrancre 540C GPS, CDI (when the bugs are worked out), & some other goodies.

A Filter Company Used my Teryx to start manufactoring filters too. Supposed to have it tomorrow.

Jimmmyzz, how was it? Did you make it out to the dunes? How was the jetting? I was talking to Randy on Friday about jets for your ride.

Where's the full report? :)
I picked it up from Randy today! He drilled the jets to 162's but he said it was lean so I drilled them to 178 (only drill bit I had that was even close) and it hardly ran. I took the airlid off and Oh Man it came alive! Smokes the tires and really pulls you back! It will smoke my Rhino! Im leaving for Glamis tomorrow night! I'll let you know how it ran when I get back. Hope to get a VDI CDI Real soon too!

I do not have an exhaust yet but have VDI box. I would like to remove the air box lid what size would I need to run?

I thought I heard some discussion about people having issues with the airbox lid off.

Just got back from Glamis! I got compliments everywhere about the way it sounds! Sounds like Drag Racing Harley! I heard about all the airl lid Rumors and let me tell you their all wrong! I took my lid off and drilled the jets with a 5/64 drill bit(local shops were out). I think that is equal to 178's It ran great! Only problem is it comes on the Limitor around 48 Mph (in the sand with stock tires) I really need to get a CDI!

That is excellent news!! I am really wanting to do an exhaust so I may have to look into the AC Racing duals.

Thanks for providing the feedback!

They should be available real soon. My teryx is going back to them to do some research on them. They are going to take off the system and make sure everything held up.

Sorry to Mis-inform anyone but my calculations on drilling the jets were wrong. I drilled them using a 5/64 drill bit which does not equal 178's
This link explains the Dynojet system vs mikuni sizes.
Road Star Clinic - Mikuni/Dyno Jet Conversion Table
As explained in the article, DJ jets are coded in millimeters. 160 = 1.6mm.
5/64 (divide 5 by 64 to get english decimal ) converts to .078''. To convert to mm, divide by .03937. In this case, 1.985mm or somewhere between 185 - 187.5.
Hope this helps,
