I unplugged my kebc and went to start the bike and it tried to crank and then soleniod starts ticking. I plugged kebc back in and disconnected the positive battery term. And reconnected it but soleniod still ticking and of course won't start. Any ideas?

Unplugging KEBC shoudn't have any affect on starting. How long from the last time you started it and when you unplugged the KEBC and tried to start? May just be a coincidence. Let us know though, as I plan to unplug mine soon too.

I just disabled mine a couple days ago. I didn't unplug it though, I pulled it right out and lift the wires all plugged in.

All's well, no issues. Now it doesn't give me the peddle bounce.

Well I guess it was my battery. I had just started it with no problems, as always, like 30 minutes before. I was adjusting my shift linkage and start it then and then took off my airbox and went and cleaned my filter. I came back outside and was thought to myself to unplug the KEBC while I was at it and then turned the key on and it tried it started to turn the motor and then started clicking. I put it on a charger and tried to after 20 minutes and nothing but clicking. Took the charger off and my cab LED in my jstrong went weak. Tried to start and they went off completely. I guess my battery just decided to die at this same moment. I am only getting about 9.4 volts out of the battery.

If you are replacing your battery I would recomend an deep cycle of some kind if you use extra lighting or a winch. Many like oddessy or optimas, but i just bought a marine deep cycle and modified the mount a little. Sounds like your stock battery may have been prepped wrong may be why it didnt last long, as the glass mat batteries are different to prep and charge from the old lead cores most are used to. Happy wheeling!

Yeah its my battery. I knew it was just a matter of time but it went in a split second. One minute working as usual and the next it was dead. I am thinkin a Oddessey, but I'm open to the optima since they are great too. What would yall go with as far as specs and cost.
