Just got my first (new to me) Teryx. It is an 08' that is pretty much new, I bought it off of a retired couple that barley used it. It has 22 hours on it. He added a checker plate roof to it, a Lexan windshield and a 2500 # winch which is too small for this machine and will be replaced with a 4000# Warn. I ordered a cage extension and rear seats with harnesses already as well as a fuel guage from blackrhino.com. I will be replacing his original half checker plate roof, with a full roof to cover the new four seat set-up. The Teryx has the original tires which are next to new and have a decent tread pattern, but I do have a spare set of ITP XTR's are these a good tire for a SxS I have them on my 800 outlander and there great on it. Just wondering how they hold up on the Teryx ? Really looking forward to getting into the SxS scene, any info or tips appreciated, have a good one !

Check out viper winches. They cost a lot less than a warn and are just as good. They are the only winch with factory warranty(bonus!!). The synthetic cable works great. Check out the winch threads to see how good of reviews they actually get.

A friend of mine has xtr's and nothing but possitive reviews from him.

Welcome, sounds like you got a good deal.
I agree with rhinokiller, the MX-5000 Viper Max w/steel cable delivered to your door, $224.99 with sealed motor, sealed planetary and a warranty. The synthetic cable is a few dollars more.

I have the ITP XTR on my 650 Prairie and haven't had any problems with getting stuck in the mud or deep water. A friend of mine has them on his Teryx and he goes everywhere without getting stuck. Smooth riding tire also. Will be getting a set for my new Teryx soon, going with the 14" rims
