On a serious note, I got the new belt on but it has 50mm of deflection!.
I can almost pinch the belt together in the middle

Should I still remove shims even though its a Brand new OEM Kawasaki belt?
I got about 15hrs out of this last belt. The dealer installed it and I dont think they bothered checking deflection.

I would look for some debris some where stopping the secondary sheave from closing. There should never be that much deflection with a new belt

Well I dont see any debris in tere, but I dont have a secondary clutch puller, and I washoping to not have to buy one right now.
The belt sits flush in the secondary.
Is there any other way to adjust delfection or anything else that would cause it to be this loose?

One of the cars that rides with us broke a belt a couple months ago. He found bits of shredded belt caught every where. He ended up removing both the primary and secondary to clean everything out.
