Is that what the DJ kit said to use for the main jet or did you read that main jet size out of a thread on a site? If you read it off a thread I bet it was a stock keihin 150/155 size.

I did what brute force said to do. I just put a 165 main and a 160 main it did a little bet better but it feels like there should be alot more.

you really need an AFR to do the job right. otherwise you are just shooting in the dark
I have never jetted without a wide band AFM myself but people where jetting carbs long before they where around. Learn to read plugs and plan on spending a fair amount of time doing it. Or get a ARM and know exactly what's going on.

Also saying things like you expected more or just doesn't have the power..... doesn't help any one help you. If you are to rich it will not rev out, and IMO probably what is going on.

Can you describe if it is popping, jerking, lazy etc. instead of just slow.

I put 4 1nch and a half holes on lid ran it it would not go then I pluged the holes it ran ok then I put fater jets 165 and 160 unpluged holes ran better now I am going to take lid off and put 175 jets today and see what happens. I have ran k&n filters on ever bike I have had and never had a problem you just have to keep it clean.

Even though it is "tuned".... doesn't mean it would have the same fuel need in both cylinders.

The rear carb would definitely see more velocity as that carb sees a shorter path of air flow from this plenum design.

I think a air plenum divider would work best for this motor. That would cure alot of intake/ tuning issues.

Easiest thing to do is get the hunterworks kit and jet per the recommendations in the kit. I have now done 3 of them and Todd's specs are pretty much right on. Ask RustyB how well his machine is running then try to keep up with him on the trails. :)

Also, I have a video showing some jetting tips on my youtube link in my signature. HTH
