thinking about the purchase of new teryx. i have looked at them, but would like to drive one.
one thing i really liked was the twin cylinder v engine, and how quiet it was at idle. now doubt is louder when ya get on it.

can someone tell me how they react when going down a steeper hill?
does the engine help hold you back?

drove a new polaris down a hill and the first thing i noticed, seemed to gain speed going down hill.

i live in alaska, lotta trails here.

thanks in advance,
have a good day,
tom....................

My friend, the engine breaking on the Teryx in my opinion is excellent, I have done some fairly steep decents and the engine brakes really well. So much so that I often find myself using the engine braking when coming to a stop, although that adds additional wear to the belt.
