Hello Everybody! My husband and I are from Canada and just bought a red Teryx 3 days ago and took it out for the first time this weekend. I would like to hear back from anyone if they have any insight to my questions/concerns. We ended up tying an extra plastic gas tank in our box just in case we ran out of fuel and noticed today that this plastic gas tank had wore a hole right through the paint and down to the metal of the box. Has this happened to anyone else? Are these boxes that fragile to carring stuff in them? Do they sell box liners anywhere? We are thinking of doing a spray in box liner. As well, in hind sight we should have transported the Teryx with the seat belts clipped in and now I notice that there is paint worn off on my row cage and little indents from the buckel hitting it. Is there touch up paint out there?..... But the ride was wonderful...we have performance exhaust and 14 inch rims... sounds and looks great!... Oh, and we also noticed that Cabela's sells UTV jump seats as well. Has anyone bought one? They are cheap...only $150. Happy riding!

First let me say welcome and glad you are here. As far as your questions go I would say a spray in liner would be the way to go. I am not sure on a touch up paint but am sure you could find something at the local auto parts store. I put a custom cage in mine with prp rear bench seat my kids love it back there lol. Good luck with your project.

Welcome also!

The scratching is normal with the rubbing action. But there are ways to keep that at a minimum... I recomend the Spray-IN Liner also! I have Line-x in my truck, and will be talking to them really soon about the Teryx. Also a cheeper/temp fix is a rubber mat, and maybe padding so that the gascan doesn't ruin the paint...especially the parts that would not be sprayed if you plan on keeping your cage, maybe put some tube padding. And then strap your can securely. Or place a towel under a milk crate ant put the can in there strapped in.

Just an idea! You'll have hours of fun with your Teryx:D

Yeah, I have noticed several places where the paint has rubbed off, on the roll bar where the back of the seat rubs on it, as well as any place in the bed where you let something sit .. Line a bed would be a great idea if this concerns you, though.

Welcome to the HQ, look forward too helping you out and you helping us out too!
