Hello All.

We just bought a new 2010 Teryx from Romney Cycles on Saturday. We live in NoVa, but have a mountain retreat in WVa.

Hoping to learn all about the Teryx in this forum. We have six scoots, but no ATV's/RUV's - only ridden an ATV once.

Any advice is welcomed

Welcome. I live in Bridgewater, VA (near Harrisonburg). Not a lot of places to ride in NOVA (I lived there for several years)!!! Hatfield McCoy in WV is the best riding somewhat close by. I am heading to Logan WV w/ my new 2008 Teryx next week for Dirt Days 2010. You should check it out. We do have some trails located west of Harrisonburg on Route 33. Not equal to HM, but better than nothing. Have fun w/your new toy.

NFP, welcome to the site. I live just outside Winchester and just bought my 2010 from Ridersville in Berkeley Springs. There are a few places around to ride that are reasonably close by.
Green Ridge state park, it is on I 68 towards Cumberland. It is a 17 mile loop that allows quads, dirtbikes and RUVs. It does require a permit but they sell them at the rangers office nearby.
Cove Campground in Gore VA, they have an 18 mile loop that is really a jeep trail where they do several jeep jamboree's a year. Last time I was there, it was $25 to ride and they have camping, a pretty good size lake and allow quads, dirtbikes, etc.

If you don't mind sharing, what model did you get (Base, LE, Sport) and what was the out the door price on your 2010 from Romney? I've never bought from them, I'm just curious as to what they are charging now.

Welcome to the world of SxS!
Chris

X, I have been dealing with Harold for years. I bought the 3rd KFX 700 he ever sold. I think the first two were for a couple of guys who were going to GNCC. I've had it since Feb of 03. Him and Dawn have always treated me right.

As far as the Teryx, I paid $9,099 OTD about 1.5-2 months ago for a super black 2010 base model. Let us know how you did over at Romney Cycle. I'm sure they are close either way, a little more or little less.

Thanks for all the love...nice to hear from so many of you.

We paid $9,350 for a base model super black OTD...I'm a notorious impulse buyer, so I'm sure I could have done better if I didn't want it so bad and so fast. They still had it in the crate...nonetheless, we got in the door and out again in an hour and 15 minutes.
