Oil leak

I’ve got an 08 750 I have a very slow leak out of the rear shaft output and was wondering if it would hurt to add some stop leak in there until my seal comes in. I’ve got a ride this weekend and part won’t be here so making sure before I’m rebuilding a motor. Thanks
