hi,
anyone have the specifications of this box,

this is because i want to install another subwoofer in it, (not the efx) and i need to know the interior volume of cubic feet and also know if is sealed or ported....

my idea is to install a marine JL audio in it and also a marine JL audio amplifier inside the box, so i have to make numbers to know the cubic feet and how may cubic feets the amplifier inside the box will take...

thanks a lot!

ok, i'll be very pleased...

by the way, i'd like your opinion, i have a probox roof, which is very nice and extremely strong, but also it is quite heavy (150 pounds)...

what do you think of having this so much weight in the top?? i am afraid that i can roll over....

the box is approx. .7cuft so i wouldn't want to waste the displacement of the amplifier. The only woofer i've tried that doesn't fit is the Alpine Type-R. and it ALMOST fits. if you poped off the cosmetic dust plate it would...

Those ProBox tops are WAY heavy. That far up it weights even more against your CG. Go rock your Teryx from the seat level, then rock it from the roof. See what a difference that leverage makes... Granted the Teryx is the widest UTV stock, just depends on how you drive.

And from an acoustic stand point, speakers overhead are still not accoustically correct.

So what mono amp do you suggest for your sub if the Teryx is going to see water and mud? Where should it be placed?

mono's are good but usaully more expensive. You could get a 2ch amp and do the same thing. That would rock with this amp (it's actually 300 watts, not 200) SSV WORKS - SC-A2002

Our Teryx amp wiring kit provides amp mounting under the hood on top of the steering column. It's as protected as you can get betten the firewall and dash. It works great!
