ive got an 08 teryx with 840 kit from fst done last year and 1000 miles on it.dalton kit new belt no ebs.muzzys pro exhaust.jeted carbs with 6 holes in stock lid with uni filter.runs excellent.its red in color and is garage kept.i have all the ssv works stereo including the upper and lower pods with the alpine speakers..and center sub box with kicker sub.alpine pdx5 amp and a alpine cd player mounted in dash and is powered by 2-925 odeysee batteries with battery isolator to keep both at full charge.has aluminum a arm front and rear and is on stock wheels and tires.also has le roof and windshield.there is also the overdrive cover in the clutch.the unit has warranty for another year .and has oem kaw fender flares.never wrecked.and looking for around 9000.00

id like to sell it to buy a new can am.ill take offers
WHAT :confused: Dont get a Canam they are junk! A buddy has one and it breaks constantly and it is cheap made. I still smoke him too:confused: If you want a change get the new rzr900 , now that is a nice bike. I will stick with my Rex though.

I am with you KW when they first come out I thought I had to have one then I looked at one and I was not as impressed as I thought I would also talked a couple of venders that had been to a couple of the ride and drive test for Can Am and they were not impress, they said it would still need alot of after market , they did say that the motor was strong for stock. I will definitely wait a year or two and see how thing shake out, I am pretty sure you will see a couple of the big boys with new products within the next 2 years, Kawi for sure has one in the preliminary stages, I have heard some pretty good stuff maybe 2012 but for sure 2013 (BAD ASS!!!) remember the Tecate

Why would you take a polaris over a can am? polaris very weak frams hard to work on motor right in front of rear wheel getting allot of mud and dirt on it weak air boxes no storage room need i say more? How about a video of your 840 vs a stock can am? I have heard that with clutch work that a can am will out run a 840 teryx? What keeps breaking please list items?

Why would you take a polaris over a can am? polaris very weak frams hard to work on motor right in front of rear wheel getting allot of mud and dirt on it weak air boxes no storage room need i say more? How about a video of your 840 vs a stock can am? I have heard that with clutch work that a can am will out run a 840 teryx? What keeps breaking please list items?
Can-ams not out running an 840 teryx.... Might have a slightly higher top speed just because the rex runs out of gearing.

Main issue with the can-am commander right now is the electric throttle body... When the tires start to spin the computer automatically backs down the throttle even if you have it floored. This has also caused a lot of people to flip while doing a dough nut.

900XP does look nice and I'm sure it flys at that power to weight ratio.

900 xp polaris junk still a rzr frame with just a little longer and wider same body with bigger mud guards. gained 200 lbs in weight and taller gears and only added around 25 hp?

Have you ever drove the Commander?? He has had oil leaks, coolant leaks , overheating not counting losing body panels that just fly off for no reason. Vibration issues, the diffs are weak , brakes are weak and everytime he jumps it the thing tries to endo AND he is also upset that mine pulls him from start to finish. Not close. We could race 20 times in a row and the outcome is the same everytime. You want proof ? I will get it on youtube when the weather breaks. Only thing is I am going to have to get a friend to record it without him knowing or he will be pissed:D I tried to get him to let me record and he refused. Said he didnt want a Teryx beating his 1000X on the internet:laugh:

Do you mean it has electronic throttle, the throttle plates are electronicly operated and it does not a manual throttle, if so I don't like that all of our new fire trucks have electronic throttles and we have had nothing but trouble out of everyone of them , we have one special ordered right now with the manual throttle, I am like shane I want to have complete control of my throttle. Sorry Whitey I think you just asked a simple question about the value of your Teryx and it went south from there but I think if your Teryx is in very clean condition that you are in line on your price, I would just shop it for a while at that price, like I always said you can always come down on a price but never go up, hope you find a buyer and then you can tell us first hand about the Can Am.
