Im thinking about buying a 08 teryx for 7300.00 with 1100 hrs on it. Is this a great price? clean title? Should I wait and look for a 2009 w/ EFI? Is there a significant difference in power and reliability from the 08 carb to 09 EFI? How much am i looking to spend on making it a 4 seater?

1100 hours or miles? waaaayyyy different. if 1100 hours run the other way. 1100 miles is still alot for that price. you can still find brand new 08's for that or close. 08 carbed is easier and cheaper to make power, 09 easier to tune. 1000 for 4 seat cage 400-500 for rear seat and mount, plus harnesses. new front seats too? long travel helps with 4 seater, as they do get top heavy. spacers at a minimum and crank down the rear springs.

I thought I got a good deal at $8300 OTD with delivery for my "new" '08, but I must have been wrong. I went in to buy a Rhino and walked out with my Teryx.

Drive to Michigan, I can show you a 2010 Black for $10,600 OTD.
that machine would still cost about $12500.00 with exchange and taxes, plus rhinokiller is from alberta so it would be 4 days of driving and $500.00 to $1000.00 in fuel depending on truck. We get it in the hoop up here. I paid $14697.79 frieght, doc fees and taxes for my black 2010. The dollar is almost even and we still pay way more. I realize it costs money to get machines here but, REALLY there should not be that much of a difference.

1100 hrs? Really??? I didn't think anyone would have that many hours on a machine, that is like 5 months of driving at 8 hrs a day.
