How can I bring my steering wheel closer to me? Three inches would be nice. Would a quick disconect wheel do the job? All your help would be greatly appreciated. I have master craft seats in the car. Teryx 24
I added a quick disconnect, seem to add about 1 inch. There is someone that is suppose to be making a seat adjuster that bolts right up to the stock seat base to be able to adjust your seat but have not heard much since the first of october.
I was waiting for the seat adjusters and gave up. I installed a couple standard adjusters / sliders (can get them on ebay all day). They work great. Not only can us short people get closer to the wheel but taller people can also adjust the seat further back than stock.
Sorry if the pictures aren't showing everything but here you go. The driver's seat is about 2 1/2 inches forward of the passenger seat. It also raises the seat about 1 1/2 inches.
I must tell you that the holes don't line up exactly. Although you can bolt them in without modifying anything (except enlarging the holes) the rails have to be exactly parallel in order for them to slide. I'm talking only about 1/4 inch.
