Talking to a buddy of mine today and he came up with a different option for wheels. He took a set of Car Aluminum wheels with the same bolt pattern as his Rhino. Had a guy make him some inserts for the lugnut holes and is running some American Racing wheels in 14" with MTRs on them when it is wet or snowy outside.. Looks cool and different. Says he runs regular radial car tires in the summer when it is dry out. WHOLE lot cheaper, too

Hmmm this is an interesting option. I am looking at running some MTRs on my carbon fiber beadlocks, so I will be sure to let everyone know what size MTRs I was able to go with.

Great idea you have there though...any assitional information you can provide would be great...thanks!

I think some of the older mustang 2s, Kias, escorts and several others run a 4X110MM Go to a Tire shop and look through their Wheel books. Not sure about the 4X136 or others. They have the bolt pattern sizes usually marked beside the wheels. I know when the daughter curbed her little car, I saw all kinds of 4X110s in them. I have thought about checking and seeing if you could possibly drill out the hubs for the larger automotive studs, but i would be concerned with structural integrity. Most hubs are pretty thin material. The guy with the Rhino is out of town working for a while, but I'll get back here as soon as possible.

I wonder since some guys are using a spacer to run rhino wheels on a teryx if someone could do the same thing. Build a spacer adapter to run these wheels and utilize the larger lug studs?

I think that would be feasable, but I don't want to make it any wider. Those type adapters would be easy to make if you could find the chunk of aluminum that thick. Figure it would have to be at least 1 1/2" wide.

How much street driving does your Teryx see? I was think of going with the goodyears when I wear out the originals but decided to stay with a 12 inch wheel so I guess it will be bighorns.

Teryx is a 4/137 bolt pattern.
we run MTR's on our Teryx and feel that hands down it is an awesome all around tire!!! Very Happy!!
What size are the MTRs that you run?
