Interested in some spacers, but not understanding what centers the wheel to the spacer?

In stock form, the lip on the hub centers the wheel to the hub...as the lug nuts are not conical, but flat. A hub-centric design, I think it's called?

The only spacers I've seen that keep the lip are the ones from UTV Crap. Unfortunately just looking for 1" for the front and they don't offer those.

How do the other spacers out there work in terms of centering the wheel to the hub?

Thanks!

How does an acorn lug nut help? Acorn nuts are just closed on the one end with a dome shape? You mean conical lug nuts?
