In my attempt to ensure we offer everything possible for my members, I am curious to know what you look for when you join a forum. While content is likely the biggest item, is there anything else that you look for?

Information, Updates, User problems and how they deal with them, and pictures of other guys rigs for ideas on: 1) how to achieve maximum desired results, and 2) how to try to individualize my own ride.

Let me ask all of you this, does the way the site is run influence your decision to be a participant on it?

The way a forum is run is important to me. Also, the people that participate. It is nice to get a response to your posts too.

Yes I must admit a petpeave of mine is topics that go unanswered.

I will admist I usually don't post a lot on forums but I frequent a bunch. I do like to feel like I can express my opinion or ask a question without being bashed. I also look for content and how it pertains to my needs. I like to be able to help other people get through a problem I might have already dealt with.

I like this site better that the others that I have visited b/c it feels more inviting I just wish that I didnt have to log back in after I've been idle for a while

I agree, I think the automatic logout time is too fast. But I chose this forum over others because it's a good community, no real bashing of members, and I also like that there isn't much rhino or other UTV bashing as well. Lots of good information out there, and I love that there is very little posting from some business that just wants some free advertisement.

Hmmm let me check, however, you should not be getting logged out after a period of inactivity. Do you have the box checked to stay logged in?

I agree as well, we have a great group of members over here and while we may not be the largest site (yet) I think we have the best!

I find that this site also auto logs me out I think prematurely, what's weird is that it is not consitent...sometimes it logs me out after 1 minute and some times after 5 minutes...and yes I am check marking the keep me signed in box.

Ease of navigation, as well as much offtopic fun as on topic fun works too. Also helps when Group Rides are arranged and you can meet the people you deal with sometimes

As far as the logging out goes, I use Mozilla Foxfire for a Internet Site and it asks and then saves all passwords that I want, so all I have to do is type in the first letter or 2 and then it gives me my choices, automatically adds my password and I'm here. I never have to log in again unless I get clear out of Mozilla or shut off my 'puter.

I use this forum to check for information and pics of mods. I do not own a Teryx yet, but will own one in another year or so when the oldest gets out of college. I have learned what works (Thanks Hunterworks and Diesel) and what breaks, stretches, bends and makes strange noises so I will be on top of things when I bring home my Camo model.

Thanks for all of you guys doing all of the research for me and spending all The $$$$$$ to test and perfect this excellent vehicle.

i also dont post alot but look everyday , like others said less bashing, more on this forum about problem solving , fun common goals less smart arsz answers some top notch people on this site , im new to forums altogether so still learning. would be a real hard learning curve without Magellan HW DP Sleepy and many more !!

I like this site for most of the reasons that have been mentioned in the previous posts. I don't have problems getting logged off at all, I usually check every day, but even when Im off the site for a couple of days it lets me in without a log on......

I don't know what you guys are talking about with the logging in and out issues. I use the site on a mac and a vista computer and I am always logged in.

Maybe I don't want to know the answer, the way it works now is great.

The site looks good. I have been using the forums for research for years. It's how you learn about your ride and how to work on it. Make things simple such as adding pictures and so on. Lots of Venders and feedback on them is always good!.
