The stock rim size is 12x7. I was wondering if anyone makes a wider rim for the Teryx, say a 12x8 or 12x9. If so, what would the pros/cons be? I would be mounting 27x11x12 zillas on the rear and 27x9x12 zillas on the front. Would there be any clearance issues with this size tire with either the stock 12x7 rims or wider rims?

I just put 28" by 12s on the back and 10s on the front on 7" wide rims. Haven't tested for rubbing yet but didn't see any issue in the garage so far.

Ok, per the manual (page 12 specs) the stock wheels are 12x6 front and 12x8 rear. Not 12x7. Some aftermarket wheel manufacturers (like MSA) only make 12x7 for the front and rear width. ITP, Douglas and others make wheels in the stock widths (front 12x6 and rear 12x8).

So your tire size will fit the stock wheels. Not sure if the will rub because I don't know their true outside diameter. As long as the true O.D. is 28" or less you shouldn't have a problem.
